Bio:
Barbara Jurgensen graduated from St. Olaf College and has a master's and doctorate from the Divinity School of the University of Chicago. After serving as the pastor of a congregation in the inner city of Chicago, she was called to be the first ordained woman to teach at Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus, Ohio. Her seventeen books have sold over 400,000 copies, plus those translated into Spanish, German, Swedish, and Korean. She has three children and three grandchildren.
